Bridging the last mile of food assistance
Food banks exist across the Twin Cities. Food is available. But thousands of people — seniors, people with disabilities, families without cars — can't physically get there.
CarryOn connects these community members with verified volunteer drivers who pick up food from local food banks and deliver it directly to their homes.
How it works

- Create a delivery request

- Track your volunteer hours
Why it matters
In Ramsey and Hennepin counties alone, over 200,000 people experience food insecurity. Many live within miles of a food bank but have no reliable way to get there.
Meanwhile, thousands of community members have cars and time they'd happily share. CarryOn makes it easy for them to help.
Safety & trust
Every driver completes training covering food safety, privacy, and professional conduct. Both drivers and recipients are verified through a short video call.
Built for scale
CarryOn launches in the Twin Cities but is designed to work anywhere. The food bank database, matching system, and verification flow are all region-agnostic.
